Annual Report 2009, Vienna

The sessions covered two full days (Tuesday and Wednesday). This year had accepted 16 papers of which two symposia. One of the symposia was organised with NW 27.
Sessions 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 had good attendance (15-30 participants), and the network meeting was successfully organised. Thematically we covered areas such as: "Open and Informal educational settings", "Designing for Open Learning Encironments", "Media and Space in Education, "Using media in education", "Researching Media Literacy" and "Teachers and Media Competencies". A total of 120 people attended one or more of our sessions. The presentations covered many aspects of media education for open learning, as well as for schools. A number of educational technologies were discussed and their respective learning contexts scrutinized.
