The Network associates perceived #ECER2022 as inspiring and challenging. With on-site #ECER2022 in Yerewan and #ECERplus online, two different conference concepts gave presenters and audiences different opportunities to join the discourse. The network is grateful for the efforts of organisation, both, for the local organisation committee as well as towards EERA Office in Berlin. However, future developments of ECER probably need careful consideration about hybrid presentation formats, questions of interconnecting participants online and on-site audiences as well as considerations about ecological aspects of travelling to on-site ECER.
The Network welcomes Marit Honerod Hoveid as EERA’s President Elect and the Network welcomes Fabio Dovigo as Networks' Representative on Council Elect. Network 6 proudly announces their new Honorary Member Yngve Troye Nordkvelle from Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. Ever since, he is an essential and vital member of Network 6: Open Learning: Media, Environments and Cultures, and he has substantially contributed to development by shaping the scope and focus of the network. He has been attending nearly all ECER conferences since 1996, and he has been the network’s Co-Convenor from 2003 to 2007 and Link Convenor from 2007 to 2010. https://eera-ecer.de/networks/honorary-network-members/yngve-troye-nordkvelle/
