The Network meeting during ECER 2016 in Dublin took place at Newman Building on August 25th.
19 member attended the meeting: Dander, Forsling, Friedrich, Fritze, Grell, Haugsbakk, Hebert, Hug, Iske, Meister, Nordkvelle, Palmgren-Neuvonen, Rau, Rummler, Schaper, Shanks, Swertz, Valentin, Von Gross.

The Outcome:
(1+2) The link convenor reported about the latest decisions and recommendation made by the excecutive board, office and council.
(3) The Network shared impressions and reflected on the quality of the ongoing conference. Positive overall: Wifi, Infrastructure, helpers, signs, keynote. Negative overall: food during reception, roundtable not in roundtable rooms, App mix-up. Positiv on the Network 6: to discuss two well-related papers in one session is great, symposium was very good, experiencing with new and different formats, high-quality network presentations, only few weak presentations, network discussion culture. Negativ on Network 6: not clear how to chair a poster session in a good way.
(4) The network discussed upcoming acitivities, such as publication projects, cooperatively organised conferences and cooperative research acitivities. A workshop on digital storytelling in planned (group: Nordkvelle, Meister, Shanks, Grell ). Links to journals "seminar.net", "MedienPädagogik", "medienimpulse.at", "Education in the North" shall be strenghened.
(5) Programm Committee will be enlarged: Shanks (Scotland), Hug (Austria), Rummler (Switzerland).
