Amongst the most important developments in Network 8 this year, was the publication of 'Wellbeing and Schooling: Cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives', which is part of the EERA book series. We were also very proud to have Network co-convenor, Carol Faucher, contribute to an inspiring keynote on the decolonisation of knowledge production movement and some of its practical implications for educational research addressing students’ health and wellbeing.
Her keynote "Knowledge production in Health and Wellbeing Education Research: Rethinking the Global-Local dichotomy" will soon be available here.
Network 8 had a positive response to our 2022 Special Call, 'Co-production of knowledge in health and wellbeing education: engaging global disparities through collaborative research'. Overall, we were impressed by the quality and diversity of submissions.
