The most important developments this year were increasing critical mass around a number of key research issues. The highlights of the conference itself were the impressive presentations and symposia and increased attendance at all sessions, which led to some excellent discussions. We are now planning to draw on this momentum to produce a new handbook for children and youth at risk research.
