In recent days the Initiative for Science in Europe (ISE) has written an open letter to the European Institutions about our collective response to the Covid-19 pandemic. The letter acknowledges the actions taken so far and argues for the centrality of research in the recovery phase. It further suggests that a guiding principle for upcoming research funding policies should be to ensure equality across disciplines and EU Countries.
As an active member of ISE, EERA is happy to support this initiative and will be calling its member Associations to take part in the campaign.
