The World Education Research Association (WERA) invites papers for the WERA Focal Meeting to be held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on December 16-18, 2011. WERA is an association of major national, regional, and specialty education research associations dedicated to sharing scholarship, developing networks, and mutually supporting capacity building. The Focal Meeting is an integral part of the Taiwan Education Research Association 2011 International Conference on Education (TICE), which will take place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (See www.education.nsysu.edu.tw/TICE2011/).
The Focal Meeting consists of a strand of paper sessions and presentations on topics of international scope and significance that are embedded in the program of a WERA member association. Papers are sought that are international, global, cross-cultural, or comparative in scope or, if situated in a single country, explicitly address research questions or issues of worldwide significance.

2) Submit via e-mail attachment to wera@aera.net. Use as the subject line of the e-mail: 2011 WERA Focal Meeting Submission.
