European profile of vocational research

A new resource base has been published, as part of the WIFO Gateway, presenting a European landscape of national research in vocational education and training (VET) and human resource development (HRD).
The VET & HRD Base offers a profile of national research, related to selected activities, in a comparison between 25 countries.
The comparative profile is a secondary analysis of national reports which were prepared by members of the Cedefop ReferNet in 2006 and subsequently published in the European Training Village.
The new resource is a first step in mapping the scene and may be taken up as a stimulus for further analysis.
