Emerging Researchers' Conference

The Emerging Researchers' Group within EERA organizes the annual Emerging Researchers' Conference (previously the Pre-Conference).

The  Emerging Researchers' Conference attracts around 150 participants from across Europe each year. In addition to presentations from conference delegates, the conference will feature special events for New Researchers-including a Best Paper and Best Poster Award- and assist new researchers who wish to get in touch with EERA networks.

In addition, the conference will run workshops to develop general academic skills, offer New Researchers the opportunity to work within themed networks, and host two invited lectures from experts working in educational research.

ECER conference support is available for promising PhD students from Eastern European countries and other low GDP countries. Limited supported accommodation is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Philipp Sandermann (Freie Universität Berlin) and Christoph Wulf (Freie Universität Berlin) were the keynote lectures.
