Time: 18 September, 15:15-16:15
Place: Aula Magna, FCEE
Session Chair: Mustafa Yunus Eryaman
Rationale: Learning is the key to personal and economical growth. New digital media open-up new opportunities for learning anywhere, at any place, at any time. A lot of research have been done to aspects of lifelong learning: supporting informal/non-formal learning, ePortfolio, competence development, assessment of prior learning, self-directed learning facilities, personal and social learning environments, learning networks, etc. However: how to integrate all of these aspects into an effective, working environment for lifelong learning? What works and what does not work? In this keynote I will address the efforts we have undertaken in the last 9 years to develop an effective approach.
