Participants presenting a poster at the ERG conference may present a printed version of their poster and participate in a 15-minute interactive poster sessions where participants present their poster for about 10 minutes and then answer questions or enter a discuss with the audience.
Alternatively, presenters may opt for a "PechaKucha".“PechaKucha” is a simple presentation format where you show a PowerPoint with 20 slides, each for 20 seconds. This means you have 6 minutes and forty seconds in total. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the slides. This type of format aims to promote concise and fast-paced presentations. There is sufficient information on the Web to help you prepare a “PechaKucha”. One of Monday ́s poster sessions will be reserved for "PechaKucha". "PechaKucha" will only available to a limited number of participants. Please send an email to brandis@eera-ecer.de to reserve a place.
If PechaKucha presenters want to be considered for the Best Poster prize they must bring/email a printed version of their poster as well.
There will be a poster exhibition in the hall (third floor, main building) so people can take a look at all the posters during the breaks. Monday after the last poster session all the posters will be moved to the hall exhibition area. Tuesday afternoon everybody may pick up their posters in the exhibition area.
Required format for your poster is A1 (594 x841 mm/ 23.3 x33.1 in) portrait (upright). We suggest you bring the poster with you to the conference. Alternatively, you could print your poster on Monday morning in a nearby copyshop:
