The Emerging Researchers' Conference offers Interactive Poster Sessions in which the authors present their poster for 10 minutes in a session room, in front of an audience and the mentor/chairperson. After the presentation, the mentor/chair and the public can ask the presenter questions during the 5 to 10 minute discussion.
Alternatively, poster authors have the opportunity to present this poster in the Pecha Kucha format. Pecha Kucha is a simple presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (6 minutes and 40 seconds in total). The images advance automatically as you narrate them. This type of format aims to promote concise and fast-paced presentations. There is sufficient information on the Web to help you prepare a Pecha Kucha. If you would like to present in this format, please send an email to <link window for sending>dow@eera.eu to reserve your spot as spaces are limited.
There will also be a poster exhibition common area so that all interested have a chance to view the posters during the breaks. After the last poster session on Monday, all the posters will be moved to the exhibition area. Poster authors may pick up their posters in the exhibition area Tuesday afternoon.
Required format for your poster is A1 (594 x841 mm/ 23.3 x33.1 in) portrait (upright). We suggest you bring the poster with you to the conference.
Additionally, please send your poster as a pdf to <link window for sending>dow@eera.eu
by 31 July as a reference for the jury.
The winner of the Best Poster Prize will be announced at the ERC ́s Closing Ceremony, Tuesday, 17:00-17h30.
