Tuesday Morning Workshops

ECER 2026 will host a number of EERA Workshops which will take place at various times Tuesday morning between 9:00 and 12:00. The exact times can be found in the description of each workshop.

As the workshop sizes are limited, participants will be required to register for most of the workshops in advance. If registration is necessary, you will find the link to the registration tool in the green box under the description of each workshop.

Terms of booking:

  • Only ECER participants are eligible to register for one of the workshops. ERC registration only is not sufficient.

  • Please do NOT register for more than one workshop, as the events run in parallel.

  • We reserve the right to cancel invalid registrations and double bookings. 

  • The reservations will be given out on a first come first served basis.

  • Should you not be able to attend, please cancel your reservation, as there might be a waiting list.

WS A: Using drama based research methods to explore how we can build a radically inclusive university
We invite participants to think together about making universities radically inclusive through drama based participatory research methods.

WS B: From Eye Movements to Instructional Design
This workshop introduces teacher educators and researchers to the use of eye-tracking vignettes as a tool to support teachers in diagnosing and dealing with misinterpretations of statistical graphs (i.e., dotplots, case-value plots, histograms, and boxplots) by taking a practice-oriented approach in which participants engage directly with eye-tracking vignettes to explore students’ reasoning processes.

WS C: Notions of quality and criticality in environmental and sustainability education research
At this workshop, that also serves as an opening event for Network 30 at ECER 2026, we will address notions of research quality in environmental and sustainability education research. We invite the participants to identify, share and discuss main concerns that stand out as vital to adhere to in the identification of quality in ESE research.
