Contribution
Far from being an uncommon phenomenon, co-writing teaching practice report constitutes an innovative step which introduces in-dept analysis and shows a wish to make changes within the teaching profession. The comparison of different teaching concepts between peers leads to the development of a thoughtful attitude and critical approach to the teaching strategies. We notice the transformation of the concept of teaching as individual mastery to that of a shared taking of risks. Teaching practice report becomes a process of forward-looking training, as much in the Teacher Training College as in schools. Team work and co-authoring demonstrate not only changing roles of trainers and trainees but also the complementary nature of different skills, the necessary networking through the intermediary of Internet, leading eventually to inaugurate an innovative form of partnership. In a complex changing society, using information technology makes it easy for the teacher to adopt new strategies, places initial training within a perspective of in-service training and thus advances the ethical philosophy of the profession.
