Contribution
The educative orientation and the orientator's job constantly face the challenges that arise from a society which is more and more competitive and demanding from students. These problems, together with the high ratios that orientators have to deal with, could be palliated if new technologies were integrated in the different tasks which are developed. There are few empiric evidences in the Spanish context that specify the use that is being experimented in the orientation of the current technologic developments. At the same time, there are some doubts as far as the orientators' training in this respect is concerned, specially psychopegagogists'. All these remarks led us to do a descriptive research in la Comunidad Autonoma de Andalucia to know Secondary Education orientators' point of view on their way of considering the impact of new technologies and the way in which they were using them.
