This study explored teachers' beliefs about diversity in personal and professional contexts. Of particular interest was to determine whether or not teachers have similar or different perceptions of diversity depending on such as contexts. The "Personal Beliefs About Diversity Scale" and "Professional Beliefs About Diversity Scale" survey instruments were administered to 120 teachers enrolled in a postgraduate program. Results will be analyzed in light of its potential impact on the development of a more comprehensive diversity teachers' training university programmes and to identify staff development needs in particular areas of multicultural education and diversity.
