In this paper the Test of Perceptual Speed and Accuracy in the Detection of Global and Local Features with Divided Attention Tasks (AD-VI) is presented, which includes hierarchical stimuli widely used in research about global and local precedence in visual analysis. These stimuli are large figures, which represent the global level, made up of smaller figures, which represent the local one. The figures are large squares with one side missing (left, right, above and below) made up of small squares with one side missing (left, right, above and below). The size of the global matrix is 4x4 local elements. The subjects are asked to find as quickly as possible a left side missing square both in global and local levels. Four measures are obtained which indicate the speed and accuracy in the analysis of global and local information. In order to analyse the psychometrical properties the test was administered to a sample of students from the 4th level of Secondary School.
