Contribution
During their initial training, the student-teachers prepare to enter their new profession. What are the features specific to the socially constructed teachers' identity ? Question and methodology How pedagogy and partnership practices are described in the professional dissertations ? We analysed 19 dissertations by teachers of French language and 19 by teachers of science. Our question was : with whom do these teachers build a relationship or co-operate in their own school and outside ? Results The room given to partnership is limited. Nevertheless, different trends must be noted : the teachers of language more often speak of contacts with people inside the school, whereas teachers of science entertain more links with the outer world. Discussion Is it effect of assessment, or is it an effect of the common way of training adults or does it show a strong feature of the teachers' professional identity ? It is hard to know.
