Contribution
The aim of that presentation is to introduce Estonian empirical results of the Qual-Praxis research project. "Best practices" from two sectors - health care and IT - will be presented and discussed. The central question here is how practice-oriented assessment models used in VET are contributing to quality assurance in VET and support students' development. Different perspectives have been included - students', VET schools teachers' and company tutors' views - when analysing practice-oriented assessment models. The impact of different macro and micro level (European level, national, sector, school level etc.) contexts have been taken into account as well when explaining the assessment models used in Estonia. In the end, a question will be risen whether a "best practice" from one economical sector (or in the context of one European country) serves as a "best practice" in another context?
