Contribution
The Bologna Process, Lisbon goals, and Copenhagen strategy are terms, which mean nothing to the European citizen voter and even less for most learners? The paper will discuss what kind of changes students and learning adults have to face to implement these policies. It presents the present situation in Poland and compares it with the UK. I would like to present examples of good practice introduced in my country. There will be also brief summary of recent reforms in the education as a whole, which were especially important in the accession to the European Union. We will discuss in the paper thesis if it is already a story of success or still long way to achieve all the planned goals by 2010
