Description: Analysis of expert listenings
From the empirical studies carried out within the IRCAM team (Donin, 2004; 2005), the contribution will present the main paradigms which are requested for the study of the expert practices of listening.
Within the framework of exchanges, this contribution will enable to tackle the question of the necessary shifting of paradigms which takes place since musical listening is regarded as activity with whole share. The study of practices and listening processes among the experts of the field (interpreters, composers, music lovers, in particular) and possible contrasts with the public and/or listeners practices, will enable to introduce a debate on the objectives, contents and teaching methods of a didactic school of musical listening and more generally of the reception/appropriation of works of the cultural inheritance.
