Contribution
The issue of equity forms an important part of educational policies and rhetorics. Globally there is a high pressure on teachers to improve the outcome of education for all students. International tests, like for example the PISA investigation serves as comparative measures regarding which country´s education provides the best knowledge. In Norway the policies and analyses addressed from the OECD receives a lot of attention when new Norwegian policies are to be worked out.
Research questions: How is equity in education addressed in teacher education policies in Norway and the OECD?
