The book 'Fabricating Quality in Education: data and governance in Europe' is edited by Jenny Ozga, Peter Dahler-Larsen, Christina Segerholm and Hannu Simola and published by Routledge (2011).
It is the product of a collaborative research project funded by ESF and the national research councils of Finland, Denmark and England and Scotland (UK) along with Umea university, Sweden.
The edited collection includes collaborative contributions from researchers from all the research teams, including newer researchers who presented their research for the first time to international audiences at ECER.The project teams presented symposia on the emergent findings during each year of the project's life-from 2007-2009.
These symposia provided important feedback on the research, and the book launch is intended to mark the publication and acknowledge the debt to ECER and Network 23 for the contribution made to the research and to the book,
