The following topics were discussed at the NW 29 Network Meeting at ECER 2019 in Hamburg:
- Proposing Judit Onsès as a new link convenor.
- Decide among the attendants to renew the list of convenors looking for a more engagement than the ones till then.
- Comment several issues:
- Look for ways to emphasize the research dimension of the network, as last years, especially 2019, there had been more artistic-education experiences than artistic researches or researches based on arts.
- How some papers related with arts (or with visuals and images) were presented in other networks instead of 29. This led us to think that perhaps there was something misleading in the definition of the Network that leads us to think of it as a network only for art educators instead to a broaden kind of researches.
- Propose ideas for future:
- Create a Newsletter informing about Arts & Education Research events during the year (also connecting with other networks such as InSEA, etc.)
- Organize a season School (spring school in Finland)
- Create a Journal of the Network 29:
- Open Access
- Space of discussion with different kind of researchers (PhD, postdocs, seniors…)
- Be up to date with what is happening in the field of artistic and educational research in Europe. Challenges, concerns, tensions, discourses…
- Organize online seminars
