Two special points of the network meeting:
- During the network meeting Jan van den Akker was nominated for an honorary network membership because of numerous relevant and substantial contributions to the network. Honoray Network Membership is granted by Council based on suggestions put forward by EERA networks.
- Mark Priestley reported on the Network 3 doctoral season school (held in Stirling, June 2017) "Crossing boundaries: curriculum traditions meet". Around 30 students from all over the world attended the season school. The season school was attached to the bi-annual conference of the European Association for Curriculum Studies (EuroAcs). Plans are underway to organize the next Network season school again in conjunction with this conference in 2019 (Maynooth University, Republic of Ireland on 21-22 June 2019).
