EERA is an association of associations, built up of more than 30 national and regional education research associations from various parts of Europe. In addition to encouraging collaboration amongst educational researchers in Europe, the EERA Council also promotes the creation of national Educational Research Associations in countries where no association of this kind exists, and encourages existing associations to strengthen their ties with the European educational research community by becoming EERA members.
The Prospective Members Session, led by EERA President Theo Wubbels and EERA Treasurer Herbert Altrichter, will inform non-member delegates about the assistance EERA can offer in building a reasearch association and explain the process of becoming an EERA member association. Those interested are also welcome to put their questions to the speakers.
