Contribution

This presentation offers a general introduction into the PRIMAS project establishing the background and purpose of the symposium. It will provide the theoretical framework in terms of teacher beliefs and IBL underpinning the PRIMAS baseline study. Furthermore, the research design of the project will be explained including issues of sampling and ‘comparability’ which are problematic with many international and comparative studies.
