ECER 2015 welcomed four keynote speakers: Michael Apple, Tamás Kozma, Iram Siraj and Sharon Todd.

EERA council and local organising committee prepare a range of sessions addressing generic themes, funding options and give insight in the education system of the hosting country.

Our plan for this year is to re-orient the Moot and try and hold a collective public reflection on how we as education researcher can relate to the ongoing European situation. This is a proposal to think about what we are doing as (European) educational researchers while being confronted with what happens in Europe or in the name of Europe.

All social events are free-of-charge for conference participants. Please use your name badge as the entrance ticket to the social events.

The main social event of ECER 2015 will take place on Thursday, 10 September beginning at 19:30 in the Garden of National Museum.

EERA awarded three Best Poster Awards at ECER 2015 in Budapest. The winners of this year’s award were Dely Eliot from Network 22. Research in Higher Education, Maria del Henar Perez Herrrero from Network 04. Inclusive Education and Snežana Mirkov from Network 22. Research in Higher Education.
